Since its chartering in 1948, Delta Phi Omega Chapter has given the Minneapolis-Saint Paul community a rich heritage of programs impacting education, arts and culture, health and wellness and social advocacy. The chapter’s membership of more than 100 Alpha Kappa Alpha women includes Minneapolis-Saint Paul's most prominent and accomplished professionals. For more than 77 years, Delta Phi Omega chapter has delivered on the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority promise of providing service to all mankind. THE IVY FOUNDATION, INC.

The Ivy Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit foundation that partners with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Delta Phi Omega Chapter.  The Ivy Foundation’s mission is to promote and support charitable and educational programs within and for the Twin Cities area African American and Latino communities.  This is achieved by awarding academic scholarships to selected students attending post-secondary institutions, and implementing and promoting public awareness of academic, educational, and service programs and activities for students and their families.
